With Country Calling quickly approaching, we wanted to give you a run down of all the information from parking, to food, and more, here is all the information you’ll need to plan your festival experience! This festival is the following weekend after Oceans Calling.

General Info

Doors open at 12pm every day with performances starting at 12:30. Festival entrances are at North and South Division Street. The box office is located at 5 Baltimore Ave. You can buy your merch outside of the festival grounds at a pop up between 1st and 2nd streets or inside the festival grounds near the pier. You can re-enter the festival grounds as many times as you need to until 7pm. There will be security doing bag searches upon entry to the festival grounds. Don’t forget to check out Country Calling’s bag policy.

Getting to and from the festival

There will be three main parking lots with public transportation options to get to the festival grounds: West Ocean City Park and Ride at 12848 Ocean Gateway, Ocean City, MD 21842, Ocean City Convention Center Parking Lot at 4001 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842, and 100th Street Municipal Parking Lot at 10267 Coastal Highway, Ocean City, MD 21842.

Buses

OC buses will be running during the entire festival weekend to ease traffic and make getting to the festival easier. Luckily, they have a Ride-All-Day option for only $4 which allows you to ride the buses from 6am to 2am. Also, a heads up credit card payment is not accepted so make sure to have exact change for the bus fare.

The West OC Park & Ride shuttle runs to the festival grounds and back between the hours of 11am and 12am.

The OC Beach Bus runs from 144th Street to the festival grounds; however, it is running with a limited number of stops.

For guests at one of our hotels, your closest bus stops for traveling to the festival are 17th Street, 23rd Street, 32nd Street, 49th Street, 58th Street, and 67th Street. When you are returning to your room, northbound buses stopping at 12th Street, 22nd Street, 32nd Street, 49th Street, and 66th Street are closest to our hotels.

If you are still looking for a hotel, our properties Hilton, DoubleTree, Quality Inn Oceanfront, Quality Inn Boardwalk, Holiday Inn Suites, Holiday Inn Oceanfront and Flagship still have availability, and are very close to multiple bus stops making getting to and from the festival a breeze.

Pick Up/Drop Off

If you are being picked up and dropped off by either a taxi, rideshare, or friends/family, the official pick up/drop off location is at 409 Baltimore Ave. With the influx of people for the festival, plan for extra time getting to and from, especially by car.

If you’re looking for a unique way to get to and from the festival, check out the OC Bay Hopper! This water taxi will be taking festival goers to the Talbot Street Pier at M.R. Ducks which is a very short walk to the festival grounds.

It’s $25 per person one way or $50 round trip. The OC Bay Hopper launch locations are at 118th Street, Ocean Pines Yacht Club, OC Convention Center, and West OC’s Pier 23. Seats are limited and not all locations will be running boats frequently. Check out their Country Calling shuttle service page for more details.

Of course, what everyone is excited for is the ultra-talented line up featuring world renowned names like Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, and Tyler Childers, but before these headliners take the stage, tons of amazing artists will be performing for the crowds.

Trimper Rides at the end of the boardwalk is a beacon of classic and nostalgic family fun. Little ones can enjoy gentle thrills like train rides, water boats, fire engines and of course, the historic carousel. Or if you and your kids are adrenaline lovers, you can check out their variety of rides and roller coasters. Trimper is a must visit when on the boardwalk in OC.

6. Fishing Charters

Enjoy the fishing experience of a lifetime. Ocean City Fishing Center has a variety of boats that’ll fit whatever your needs are, and all you have to bring is the food and drinks – they’ve got everything else.

7. Jet Skis

Experience the thrill of jet skiing with your kids! Rent a jet ski for a day of excitement and unforgettable memories. We recommend Oceanside Watersports at the Oceanic Fishing Pier.  

8. Sea Rocket Adventures

Make all kinds of memories on the water. From parasailing to dolphin and sunset cruises, there’s fun for everyone when you book with Sea Rocket Adventures. 

9. Go-Karts

Rev up the excitement with thrilling go-kart races. Perfect for families seeking a little adrenaline on vacation. We recommend Jolly Roger’s Speedworld. 

10. Mini Golf

Tee up some family fun with mini-golf. There are countless mini-golf courses all over Ocean City. Whether you want to tee up with dinosaurs, vikings or pirates, or if you need an indoor course, there’s something for everyone – just pick a theme and there’s probably a course in OC to fit.

11. Bowling

Bowl a strike and make lasting memories at Ocean Lanes on 72nd Street. It’s the perfect activity for a rainy day! 

12. Jolly Roger Amusements

Enjoy a day of fun like no other. Jolly Roger has everything you can imagine from one of the best water parks in the country, to one of the largest go-kart facility on the East Coast, and even mini golf, roller coasters, rides and two ferris wheels across their two locations – one on 30th Street and the other at the Ocean City Pier.

13. Frontier Town Adventure Park

Located just outside of Ocean City, splash and slide at Frontier Town‘s water park or giddy on up to their Western Experience and enjoy a show of trick riders, gunfights, and more. It’s a one of a kind experience you don’t want to miss.

15. Summer Events

Experience the magic of Ocean City’s free summer events! Enjoy Sundaes in the Park at Northside Park on Sundays at 7pm from June 9th to September 2nd with ice cream, kids’ activities, live music (link to live music lineup), and fireworks. 

Dance the night away at the OC Beach Dance Party with local DJs playing your favorite jams at the Caroline Street Stage on Mondays in July and August at 7:30pm. 

Or grab a blanket and chairs and kick back for movie nights on the beach on 117th Street every Wednesday at 8:30pm from June 5th to August 14th. The movie schedule will be posted here.

Enjoy free concerts featuring local bands at Sunset Park on Thursdays at 7pm between July 11th and August 29th – you can check out the line up here.
