An exciting event took place last Tuesday! We had the ribbon cutting for the Holiday Inn Oceanfront’s new and improved, wholly renovated outdoor pool and courtyard area, including the official reopening of the Original Pool Bar!
Over the winter, the outdoor patio and pool at the 67th St. Holiday Inn were completely redesigned and remodeled. What was once a tennis court and humble pool deck is now a sprawling vacation spot, with a sparkling new pool and spacious courtyard, perfect family fun, large group events, and weddings.
The new design showcases a modern and inviting resort atmosphere, complete with an amazing 54,000-gallon pool, a swim-up bar, and an elevated sunbathing area with plenty of hammocks and loungers for hotel guests. Topping off the monumental renovation, a 2,500-gallon spa, two grand fire pits, and a dining area with table service from the Original Pool Bar. Unique features include beautiful Brazilian wood, a frameless glass fence surrounding the pool area, and marble sourced from Turkey, which is said to stay cool even on the hottest days.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was a much-anticipated event, attended by company and hotel staff, local businesses involved in the construction, and Maryland State Senator, Mary Beth Carozza and her family. This reopening of the Holiday Inn Oceanfront’s Original Pool Bar marks a new era of relaxation and fun for both hotel guests and the community. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind, offering a place for families to create lasting memories, friends to gather for good times, and guests can experience the best of an Ocean City getaway.
Whether you’re a guest of the hotel or dining at the pool bar, the new pool deck and bar promises an amazing experience.
